We at Monkey Puzzle Chesham believe that very child is unique and therefore every settling in period should be planned and adjusted to support their needs.To avoid feeling overwhelmed, at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Chesham we provide a settling in SURFHVVZKLFKLVFRPSOHWHGRYHUWKUHHJUDGXDOVWHSV7KHVHVHVVLRQVDUHÀH[LEOHWRVXLWDQGDUHusually booked in for the week before their start date over 3 consecutive days where possible.Session 17KH¿UVWVHVVLRQZLOOODVWDSSUR[LPDWHO\PLQXWHVLQ\RXUFKLOG¶VURRP'XULQJWKH¿UVWVHWWOLQJ in session we would like to know as much as we can about your child and their routine at home. We will ask you to complete an “all about me” form and a registration form. This can be completed at the setting or in the comfort of your own home. The session will be led by your child’s key person which will allow them to spend some quality time getting to know them.Session 2The second settling in session normally lasts up to 1 hour. During this session, the key person may request you to leave the room for 20 - 30 minutes. We are happy for you to remain on VLWHLI\RXFKRRVHWR7KHNH\SHUVRQZRXOGHQJDJHWKHFKLOGLQKLVKHUIDYRXULWHDFWLYLWLHVLIyour child for any reason becomes distressed and if this proves unsuccessful, you would be contracted to come back in the room.
